Friend
Isn't it amazing God calls us His friend? There are few things I have found in life as wonderful as the friends who make their lives my home! As I get ready to leave the office, I wonder if I have put down the hoe enough times...I certainly am good at picking it up!
When a friend calls to me from the road
And slows his horse to a meaning walk,
I don't stand still and look around
On all the hills I haven't hoed,
And shout from where I am, What is it?
No, not as there is a time to talk.
I thrust my hoe in the mellow ground,
Blade-end up and five feet tall,
And plod: I go up to the stone wall
For a friendly visit. Robert Frost
Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. 3 John 2
